Additionally, @marco_derossi, co-author of the on-chain identity and reputation standard ERC-8004 mentioned in the report, is the Director of Product at ConsenSys and leads AI at MetaMask. With a team that has directly designed and built the core layers of Ethereum, including protocols, Money OS, and AI standards, this report does not feel like just a forecast. The statement that this year is the year of Ethereum is more of an explanation of the changes already taking place internally rather than external expectations.
