🚨🇺🇸 DRAGON SET FOR SPLASHDOWN OFF CALIFORNIA COAST IN 17 HOURS
After undocking from the International Space Station, SpaceX’s Dragon is executing a series of departure burns to move clear of the orbiting lab.
Dragon will spend the next 17 hours in free flight before reentering Earth’s atmosphere and targeting splashdown zones off Los Angeles, Oceanside, or San Diego.
Recovery crews are staged in the Pacific to secure Dragon upon landing, marking the final step of its mission before returning cargo and science experiments back to shore.
