It’s now been more than a week since Harvard disclosed owning $116 million in BTC. This was an important story in the financial markets, and many mainstream readers would also be interested. Unless I’ve missed something, no major financial or general interest publication has covered it (Yahoo finance and niche outlets don’t count as major). Harvard’s own newspaper did cover it. This is probably the strangest case of non-reporting I’ve ever seen in the financial markets. Why the news blackout? It’s 2025; “the media hates Bitcoin” isn’t really a factor now compared to the past. Did someone want this story buried?
