One unknown feature about Carbon DeFi limit orders is that they never expire. This is in contrast to other DeFi protocols whose limit orders expire after some amount of time. On Carbon DeFi, your limit orders live onchain forever until 🫵 decide to cancel them. No expiration, no preset timers, no count downs, etc... Earlier this week, I pointed out a buy-low-sell-high strategy created over >2 years ago that is to this day still actively trading.

One such legend created a strategy on @CarbonDeFixyz in April 25th 2023 under the USDC/ETH trading pair with a buy range of 1700-1800 USDC/ETH. As the price of ETH dropped on April 3rd below 1800, his buy range became active and he started acquiring ETH. On April 8th, his buy order was 100% filled as the price of ETH dipped below 1700. How much ETH did he acquired? 4.995495929 💰 All of this happened automatically without any intervention from the trader. Probably one of the coolest things that I have seen done onchain when it comes to airdrops. Users received a live Carbon DeFi strategy that was funded with GVNR and USDT. For the project: 1. They are providing double sided liquidity under a trading pair and growing the liquidity of their token. 2. These strategies are used to support trading for their token making it easy for traders to buy and sell. For the recipient: 1. They receive a live trading strategy configured with a fee/spread. The more it trades, the more fees it accrues over time. 2. They can withdraw/add liquidity, modify prices, edit the fee/spread easily. 3. They are supporting the liquidity of their favorite project.
