I mean for Cruz this is like being dealt four aces and a wild card. What I find baffling is Kaine is a Harvard Law grad and a former of governor of Virginia (which is drenched in founder lore, ceremony, rhetoric etc) and he thinks the idea that our rights come from God is some foreign mumbo jumbo? I mean that he doesn’t believe it is one thing. But to heap scorn on it like he’s never heard it before is just bizarre.
