People often dismiss a take because of who it comes from or how that person behaved in the past. That’s a mistake. If you filter ideas based on the person instead of the argument, you’re letting bias drive decisions. There are, of course, people who are consistently wrong or clearly talking their book but that doesn’t justify auto-rejecting every idea without engaging with it.
