You know what’s crazy about trading these days. Kols back then never used to have copy traders like they do now. Tracking wallets existed, but it took tons of effort. And when you actually went through days of filing through on chain data through cielo, and found a good wallet, if you did it right you would actually win heavy. Finding insiders, snipers, or just profitable wallets. I’ve done it in my early days of trenching. The first trade I copied on the wallet I found made me $20k in 5 minutes. Insider. That stuck with me because of how pivotal of a moment it was for me back then. Kolscan didn’t exist. Kols made money through their tgs, some would pump and dump, but some were legit. Same as now. But it was never as large scale as having 1000s of people buying into trades while tracking on chain streamers wallets. Charts pump instantly. And then what? They dump on you. Hundreds of trades a day. We all remember tjr and the live streams during the chill guy days. I don’t really have a point to make with this post, but more so just giving out info on how we were before vs how we are now. Just like e-commerce and saturation meaning more sales, saturation also means a lot more competition. Where there’s money, there’s competition. But again, just like e-commerce, if you scale it right (adapt and learn) and have a good product (good trades) there are always ways to win big.
