👨🏻‍💻 Weekly update #2: Solana CLI integration is picking up speed. Milestone 1 is complete: Universal Hardware Wallet Layer PR submitted to the Solana Foundation. Now onto Milestone 2: Keystone integration. We're • Setting up USB communication • Parsing Keystone's transaction format • Implementing offline signing and signature checks • Building CLI support and collecting feedback Next step: review the M1 PR with the Solana Foundation, & continue development on M2. Every Solana dev should have this on their radar. Tag the ones who need to be ready.
Keystone Hardware Wallet
Keystone Hardware Wallet28.7.2025
Thank you all for the incredible support on our Solana CLI integration. It genuinely fuels our work 🔥 As promised, here’s our first progress update. We’re currently focused on two milestones: M1: Universal Hardware Wallet Layer M2: Keystone Integration For Universal Hardware Wallet Layer, we’ve • Refactored the CLI architecture to support modular hardware wallet integration • Defined clean abstractions for transport, signer traits, and error handling • Implemented initial Ledger support • Mapped and documented existing Solana CLI code paths For Keystone integration, we’ve • Set up USB communication • Built transaction payload parsing and construction • Developed offline signing and signature verification • Integrated early CLI commands and gathered user feedback This week, we’re submitting the M1 PR and starting technical review with the Solana Foundation, finalizing any feedback, and continuing work on the Keystone signature flow. If you're building with Solana or curious about wallet tooling, we’d love your thoughts. Come, let's build in public!
