We got the @HYTOPIAgg game engine un-bottlenecked and tested today. We can run up to 500 players on a single cpu core in a single game server instance @ 60 tick before performance declines. Even more potential for headroom beyond that as well still. Wild times ahead.

Found a professional @blockbench artist to create some unique kart models.... 4. ... so we need a nice way to switch between those! Here's the first preview of how you can real-time switch between karts in the main hub/lobby! (🚨 current kart models are still placeholders!) Each kart will have it's own strenghts and weaknesses + multiple skins!

HYTOPIA is playable EVERYWHERE!

We’re setting things up for our Marketplace and Locker public test phase! We’ll have a lootbox, bundle, exclusive items for Worlds, Gray Boys, and Avatars holders, and the IOS and Android test hats. We need transaction spam so we can get this thing ready for real launch on base!

The best part about @HYTOPIAgg is how easy it is to build in public. I've been consistently pushing updates to our private alpha servers and getting instant feedback from players in our Discord. The entire community gets to participate in the game development process, and we get valuable data to improve our game

Found our bottleneck after months of searching. HYTOPIA servers are about to be able to run 200+ concurrent players in games @ 60 tick without issue. We can run 500+ concurrent if we wanted with a little more tuning. All lag / jitter / stutter should be gone as well too.
