We have many of these types in the Bitcoin community. Supposed experts that just spread ignorance and misinformation. It infuriates me that this reprehensible individual, Hancock, has the audacity to claim that Dr. Dibble's contributions to humanity amount to almost nothing. Dr. Dibble is a serious educator and scholar with meaningful contributions to his field. Science progresses through incremental and continuous efforts—this is the foundation of most scientific advancements. Revolutions in a scientific field are rare and often due to this continuous accumulation of gradual knowledge reaching a critical point. Hancock's own contributions are decidedly negative, as he spreads lies, misinformation, and all manner of nonsense @Graham__Hancock @FlintDibble

Sometime ago I caught PlanB responding to the cluster criticism showing this graph. He claimed we see here jumps in the Kleiber law (a power law) between the energy consumption of an animal and its average species weight. I didn't know if laugh, cry or both, in particular because thousands liked his response (without understanding anything). This shows he truly doesn't understand what he is talking about and so his many followers. Yes, there are jumps here but no scientist is claiming this is a single power law. It is several similar ones. Different power laws apply to different biological realms. They have similar slopes but different y intercepts. It is not one fit. I cannot believe this guy has so many followers when he doesn't even understand simple concepts.
